Introduction

TL;DR: ToolKit Pro processes everything locally in your browser. We don't build profiles, sell data, or require accounts. This policy explains what little we do collect and why.

Welcome to ToolKit Pro ("we", "us", "our"). ToolKit Pro is a free online tools platform available at https://toolkitpro-hub.vercel.app/, offering calculators, converters and productivity utilities for students, developers and professionals.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website and use our tools. By accessing ToolKit Pro, you agree to the practices described in this document. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the site.

This policy applies to all pages under the ToolKit Pro domain. It does not govern third-party websites, even those linked from our pages.

Information We Collect

All tool calculations are local. Numbers you enter into any ToolKit Pro tool (BMI, EMI, unit conversions, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted to any server.

Information collected automatically

When you visit ToolKit Pro, standard web server logs may capture basic, anonymous connection data including:

  • IP address (anonymised before storage)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring URL
  • Pages visited and time of visit
  • Time spent on pages

This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users. It is used solely to understand general usage patterns and improve service reliability.

Information you provide voluntarily

ToolKit Pro does not require registration or login. If you contact us via our contact form, we collect only the name and email address you voluntarily provide, solely to respond to your enquiry.

Local storage

We store one item in your browser's localStorage: your dark/light theme preference (tkp-theme). This key never leaves your device and contains no personal information.

Cookies Policy

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. ToolKit Pro uses minimal cookies and gives you full control over them.

ToolKit Pro sets no first-party cookies of its own. The only browser storage we write is a localStorage key for your theme preference — not a cookie.

If you have enabled third-party services (such as Google Analytics or AdSense — see sections 4 and 5), those services may set their own cookies. The table below describes all cookies potentially present on this site:

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling analytics and advertising cookies will not affect any tool functionality on ToolKit Pro.

Google Analytics

ToolKit Pro uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with the website in aggregate. This helps us identify which tools are most used, how users navigate the site and where we can improve.

What Google Analytics collects

  • Pages visited and time on page
  • Geographic region (country / city level only)
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Traffic source (how you arrived at the site)
  • Anonymised session duration and bounce rate
We have enabled IP anonymisation in Google Analytics. Your full IP address is never stored. We do not use Google Analytics to collect personally identifiable information or cross-site tracking data.

Opting out

Google's own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Google AdSense

To help cover the costs of maintaining a free service, ToolKit Pro may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

How AdSense works

  • Google AdSense may use the DoubleClick cookie to serve more relevant ads and limit how often you see a particular ad
  • Google may also use web beacons and tracking pixels to measure the effectiveness of advertisements
  • Interest-based advertising is personalised using data from your browsing history across sites that use Google advertising
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings, or by visiting aboutads.info/choices for a wider opt-out across participating networks.

ToolKit Pro does not have access to the data Google collects for advertising purposes. Google's advertising policies: policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Third-Party Services

ToolKit Pro integrates with a small number of third-party services to deliver certain features. Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

QR Server API (api.qrserver.com)
Used by the QR Code Generator tool to render QR code images. When you generate a QR code, your input data is transmitted to the QR Server API over HTTPS. QR Server's terms of service apply. No personal information is collected through this service.
Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com)
We load DM Sans, DM Mono and Syne fonts from Google Fonts. This causes your browser to make a request to Google's servers, which may log your IP address. Google's privacy policy governs this data.
Google Analytics 4 & AdSense
Described in full in sections 4 and 5 above. Both services are operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Data Protection

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data associated with your visit to ToolKit Pro.

Security measures

  • HTTPS encryption — All data in transit between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS
  • Local-first processing — Tool inputs never leave your device, eliminating server-side data exposure risk entirely
  • No account system — We have no user database and therefore no credentials to protect or breach
  • No persistent server storage — We do not maintain databases of user activity or inputs
  • Regular security reviews — We audit third-party integrations and access points periodically
While we implement strong security practices, no internet transmission is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly via our contact page.

Data retention

We do not retain personal data. Anonymised server log data is automatically purged on a rolling 30-day basis. Contact form submissions are retained only long enough to respond to your enquiry and deleted within 90 days thereafter.

Children's Privacy

ToolKit Pro is designed to be safe and useful for all ages, including students and young learners. We are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations worldwide.

ToolKit Pro does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction — 16 in the EU under GDPR). Because we require no registration or personal data from any user, our service naturally collects nothing from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information to us (for example, via our contact form), please contact us immediately and we will promptly delete that information.

We encourage parents and educators to supervise children's internet use. The mathematical and scientific tools on ToolKit Pro are designed to be educational and appropriate for all ages.

External Links

ToolKit Pro may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites, including documentation, reference resources and partner services. These links are provided for your convenience and informational purposes only.

We have no control over the content, privacy practices or security of external websites. Clicking a link to an external site means you are leaving ToolKit Pro and are subject to that site's own privacy policy.

We make reasonable efforts to link only to reputable, relevant resources. However, we do not endorse the content of external sites and cannot accept responsibility for their privacy practices or data handling.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of every website you visit. If you notice a broken or potentially unsafe link on ToolKit Pro, please let us know.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have specific rights regarding your personal data. Because ToolKit Pro collects essentially no personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by design. However, we respect and honour them fully.

Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you. In practice, this is none.
Right to Rectification

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements or for other operational reasons. We will always post the revised version on this page with an updated "Last modified" date.

We commit to notifying users of material changes by displaying a prominent notice on the ToolKit Pro homepage for at least 30 days after any significant policy update. Continued use of the site after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. The most recent version will always be accessible at https://toolkitpro-hub.vercel.app/privacy.html. Previous versions of this policy are available upon request via our contact page.
